I intend on having a relaxing day. The hardest part is getting organized before we can leave. DH will have to do the majority. Although we are meant to be leaving at 10.30 which is only an hour away and DH has gone to his farm. It's an hours drive and we need to be there before lunch time.
We having a BBQ at the place where we went camping at Christmas over looking the water. It's a beautiful spot and the kids can go swimming and kayaking. (I better not go in the Kayak this time lol)

I did it! I converted my first bread/dough recipe! I made Pioneer Woman's Cinnamon Scroll dough. I made the dough last night and put it all together this morning. We prefer cream cheese glaze instead of coffee glaze... I halved the batch and cooled the scolded milk in the fridge till it read 37 degrees on the TMX. But this is what it looked like...

Having good old fashioned corned beef and salads today so made a potato salad, made Elizabeth's Mayonnaise from the forum, made a different Asian flavoured rice salad (will post if any good), boiled some eggs and made a tossed salad. Easy day for me and enjoying this perfect not-to-hot summer weather we are still having.

3 lots of bread today.
1.  Sourdough,  new recipe turned out just like a baguette. ;D
2. Olive and Rosemary potato bread.  Supposed to be like baguette but wasn't.
3.   Sourdough loaf,  new recipe.

Maddy not as pretty as your pressie to your Mum.
Judy,  not as tasty as your Crab.

Chookie I was looking through your photos and my DS (5) was sitting beside me when we were looking at your Olive and rosemary potato bread, he said that looks so so so so disgusting lol. He asked me why there was trees growing in the bread ;D

I thought it looked great though ;)

Made the Tuna & Rice pie using leftover chicken and vegies instead of the tuna.  I suppose I should call it the Chicken & Rice pie.  It tasted good but I would use a bit more mustard or curry powder next time.

I am trying out some recipes that would be easy to make in the caravan when we go away for a few days.  Our van doesn't have a normal oven so I bought an Easy Cook oven to use.  It's a bit of a learning curve but I will persevere.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
