What am I cooking today"..........absolutely nothing. Beautiful breakfast Jin the hotel this morning. Guava juice and tropical fruits, followed by delicious Bircher muesli, then sourdough with mango jam ,then another slice with kaya jam. Then because we could we had a lovely Danish that was rolled with a walnut type paste.
The best part is I can have it again tomorrow. DD had a cooked breakfast but an Asian one.

Thanks. We have just had dinner, I do love Indian food and they have a smorgasbord of it in the hotel. We then went out again,(DD loves it that the shops don't close till 11 or so)We then had a gelato and bought 2 lovely macarons to have later. Late nights here and then sleep Jin as the city doesn't get going till about 10.
Lucky I don' t live here, I'd explode in a few weeks. Great fun for a holiday though.

The food is fantastic in Singapore, enjoy it all you can. Its one of the places you can go and the food is great everywhere.

I love the late shopping. High tea at Raffles & just more food.

Enjoy ;D

I can see DD will run you off your feet Cookie, keep up with her won't you  :D

It seems ages since you mentioned your dishwasher Mandi, let's hope a phone call can hurry them up.

Grrr. I rang the repair guy and he still hasn't fixed it. He said he is snowed under with repairs and that mine is going to be done soon after he finished a couple other jobs. It's been a month today since he did the quote. If I'm lucky I will get it this week other wise next week. :(

Can you ask him for a loan dishwasher.
I just bought a washing machine, and we have had a loan one for 2 weeks, till my new one gets delivered tomorrow.
we also lend out loan pumps, for our customers.

It's not so bad Obbie, at least I can cope without it. If it was a washing machine that would be a different story.

Back up and going again after being told to rest my back for a week.  Absolutely no housework or unnecessary movement.  It's good to be back in the kitchen again as I was getting withdrawal symptoms.  Made a loaf of bread and then the Moroccan Sausages for dinner last night with steamed vegs and Swiss Rosti.  Have some hot cross buns rising at the moment then maybe a chocolate cake.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Glad to see you are back in the kitchen Margaret - no housework for a week is Ok but no cooking is a bit tough.
