Tonight I made a variant of Baf's Chicken., butterflied chicken breast and rolled it with sliced ham and jarlsberg. Last night I made Pea and Ham soup from EDC, I've made it before but i'm not really happy with it and will hav4 to find another recipe.

I also made Pumpkin & Weetbix biscuits, my own invention, I liked them and the people at work liked them but DW was not impressed with them. I will post the recipe and happily invite judgment.

Made some fudgy wudgy biscuits, lamingtons and trying soft herb rolls. If any good I will post the recipe later (the dough smells divine though)

Wow that's some flour you have there Kim - will decant what I have left and place some packs in the freezer then just to be sure.

I found i was always buying flour and then a neighbour asked me to go shares with her in an order from the local mill which i didnt know existed then she stopped so i ordered a bag ( you can only get half or full bags so a whole lot of flour) but it works out very cheap per kilo for over here and i know its milled locally and have had no problems keeping i in food grade sealed bins however i sm currently sourcing organic flour in large quantities.. I hate buying tiny packets rather than bulk buy.. It does take me a while to get through it though but whenever my container is empty i just refill it from the flour bin.. However not sure how it would go with the aussie temps..our house is naturally cool in summer so ive never had a problem even when is hot..

Sausage rolls, bimby chocolate cake, peppermint slice, donut jam muffins today.
Pizza for tonight.

Now I have to go to the hospital to pick up DH who just cut his arm open and is being stitched up as we speak.

Well at least I got the cooking finished first :)

Today I made Butternut Squash Macaroni and Cheese – a new recipe for me and one I have adapted from an interesting blog by Angela Liddon called "ohsheglows".  I was actually looking for a lactose free sauce for lasagne and came across Angela’s blog.

This means that at last I can post a recipe here (maybe my third in 1 1/2 years!).  It is a lactose free recipe and I found it to be really tasty.  Perhaps not so tasty for those who are OK with lactose, but for lactose intolerant people it is a surprisingly good alternative. Sorry, no photo - that's a bit beyond my capabilities at the moment!
