I've just made Beef & Beer casserole but we are going out for lunch so it will probably be tomorrow's meal now.

Bread with soaked grain,  tomato soup from the last of the tomatoes. Chicken soup from the roast chicken bones. Looks like it will rain again so it is ironing or baking.  Baking wins. ;D

Dede,  love your photo of the legs,  and the following chat.

Years ago my daughter taught me how to use a public toilet , without touching a thing.

Fundj that pasta looks fantastic. Yeats something I have never attempted to make. Would love to see it done in person. Very smart :)

Uni, when I make pasta I cook it straight away.

When I dried some on racks, they went crispy. What do you do?

I don't know about that Gert? I would have to get the kids to help :). That would be fun.

its not hard to make but, theres the but  ;D, for such a lager family like yours it will be alot of work and u need alot of space to let the pasta dry.   to roll and cut it took me 1 hour and that will be only enough for frank and i. i will type out the recipe and email you

thanks dede, yes wagyu steak with the lot. DS off to his tennis tournament so though I should give him a boost.

I make pasta regularly. DS rolls it through th machine, he loves doing that job.

Once you have home made its hard to go back to dry or even fresh pasta. The one you make at home is yumm.
