Obbie, I am work today, but because its raining it is very quiet.
Not much work here either  ;D
Spag bol was on the menu but as we had left over pasta tonight, I NEED VEGES.
So I went to the butcher and got some rissoles to have with the veges.
Really wanted soup but DS doesn't eat soup  >:( He is funny with different textured foods.

Today I've made Train Potatoes and steamed vegies, Spaghetti bolognaise sauce, red lentil and tomato soup & caramelised garlic paste.  At this point I discovered a chicken fillet in the fridge so cut it into large dice, threw it into the TM bowl after I had made the garlic paste, added some butter, oil and chilli sauce and will use it for tea tonight in a wrap with salad. Was going to make some ketchup but have run out of time. How the day flies when you spend it in the kitchen.

I made my Herman today and have a bread and butter sponge and fruit pudding in the oven. If it turns out ok I'll post the recipe.

Thanks to Hally I decided to make some Anzacs for DD 8 to take to school with her tomorrow to share with her class. But poor DS 5 cried cause he wanted some too :( , so I agreed to make another batch but discovered I didn't have enough golden syrup, rolled oats or butter to make more. Quick trip to the shop for DH so I can make some more. :)

The things we do for our kids ;D

Thanks Gert.  We did bang the tray a few times, but we only let them sit for 1/2 hour, not 1 hour.  And I think I should be spelling them with only one 'o' macarons, not macaroons :-))
Dede doesn't your heart just soar when your kids really like something you make.  I know even now with mine being adults, if they say they like something, I get very excited.

Chookie - we love preserved lemons especially when making moroccan chicken tagine - divine and melt in your mouth! We don't use the tagine much now as we have the TMX but will have to start using it again now that winter is almost here.
