Just viewing on the PC and those photos are HUGE - sorry. The eclairs went in about 5 minutes but there were some macarons left which my DD has taken to school today and most of the chocolate cake. There were only 7 of us, so a bit much food.

Also some bread

yum, yum, and yum - you are a wonder Wonder! DH and I stopped off at a little country town bakery on Anzac Day and it was choccers with freshly baked food (obviously a big day out for the townspeople). They had some macarons there in 3 different colours but yours look 10x better and more professional. If theirs looked like yours Wonder I would have bought one!

Wonder - love your eclairs and macarons. Can I ask how long it takes to make them? Also it looks like you are experienced in shaping the choux pastry...any tips?

Thank you all for being so nice to me yesterday, it was a crap day, but is now behind us.

Wonder your cooking exploits look wonderful, especially the macarons.

Wonder they look fantastic .  What flavor are the white macaroons - is that the lemon curd in the middle?

Thanks for all the complements. I really enjoyed making the macarons and they weren't at all difficult although there is room for improvement. The white ones are just plain, I was hoping for white but asked my husband to buy almond as I wanted to see if there was a difference between the bought almond meal and the one I made myself, I didn't realize you could buy meal that was made with unpeeled almonds which is what he purchased, so instead of white they were a light brown with browns flecks. The plain ones had a mix of lemon curd filling and white chocolate ganache with a small dollop of raspberry jam - the lemon curd ones seemed to the favorites. Tenina I think I'll try making some pretty colored ones for a bake off we are having at work in a few weeks.

Sorry I forgot to add the choir pastry was a bit of a disaster in regards to the shaping, the pastry puffed up much more than I was expecting and I had to make another batch after reviewing some utube videos but they were still quite misshapen - a lot more practice needed for those.
