No problems, I like the challenge of finding things.

And my bad day gets worse.
Now the roast is too big for the slow cooker.

I made some 'Kiss & Cuddle' biscuits. http://tonicoward.blogspot.com.au/2012/05/mothers-day-kiss-cuddle-biscuits.html

Love the biscuits jakodai.  Will make some for the grand children, I'm sure they won't say no. :)

Well done Amy.  What a wonderful effort.  I'm sure they will sell out quickly.

Well, I'm a little disappointed. The fundraiser wasn't as big as I was expecting, and I had a lot of biscuits left that I ended up giving away. I only made $141.80 :-\

I don't know, maybe I set my expectations too high?

And I can't believe the cheek of the first woman I served. She asked how much I was charging and I told her I was asking for gold coin donations. And then she asked how much she would get in a bag :o She was expecting me to fill up an entire bakery bag with biscuits and brownies and give it to her for $1. Did she not see the sign that said CANCER FUNDRAISER?!?! >:(

But thanks again to everyone here for your support and encouragement :)

Amy you did very well and if all people had the view of your first customer, you wouldn't have made anymore than a few dollars  :o :o  Can I believe there are people around like that - unfortunately yes  >:(   Don't let people like that stop you from doing something like this again, every dollar raised is appreciated.  :-* :-*

Amy what a selfish b!tch. The hide of some people.
I went to a Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser on Thursday and it aw dismal.
I travelled over an hour to attend, yet some people couldn't be bothered traveling 5 minutes.
I might try your idea next year and sell some home baked goodies our shop. Hopefully our regular customers will be more obliging.

Amy,  that is a very good result as many people are a bit short of cash at the moment. Nice to do some  cooking for a charity or to support your community.  I'll bet those who bought your goodies enjoy them.

Amy, some people are just unbelievable. At our school fete, people try to haggle over 2nd hand clothes - when most items are only $2! Where else could you get a decent skirt/shirt/whatever for only $2 I ask you!
Today I've made pancakes, choc chip cookies, have chookie's pavlova in the oven and will make cream of chicken soup from MOTM for dinner. Was going to make bread rolls b4 I realised how long the pav will take to cook. No time now unless we eat really late .
First time making a pav so fingers crossed. If it doesn't work out it will be (bought) bread with cuildh's crabapple & raspberry jelly which she kindly gave me a jar of yesterday - thanks Marina!

Visitors tomorrow,  bit of a challenge as they are on a no /low sugar diet.  Have cooked lamb shanks in the crock pot in a mixture of veggies chopped in the TMX.  Coconut Impossible Pie,  used splenda in place of sugar.  Adapted the recipe and then found similar on Forum when looking for something else. :-)) :-)) :-)) Made custard and used 1/2 to mix with Yoghurt and cream to make ice cream base.  Tomorrow will make mashed pots to go with shanks ,and steam green beans in Varoma. Churn ice cream and make bread rolls/sticks.
Judy you are very naughty posting that photo of the vanilla slices. ;D
