DH might have been shopping at Intimo for you Mab

No such luck obbie.   I sent him to buy some patty cake papers but the ones he bought were far too big.  Never send a man to do a woman's work.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I've done a bit of GF experimenting...not telling the family what it all is til they've tried it all!
GF choc brownie, 2 x GF magic bean cakes (one for a scout camp this weekend and one for hubby and his 4wd mates)  and a gf soda bread.

Judy, your food looks great. And I love the way your carrots are always so neatly lined up :D

No such luck obbie.   I sent him to buy some patty cake papers but the ones he bought were far too big.  Never send a man to do a woman's work.

I once sent a man (not a DH, haven't got one of those) to buy bananas, and he brought me 2 and a half kilos! Good thing I love bananas :D And the added bonus was that he paid ;D
I don't know what that has to do with cake papers, but your story just reminded me of that mab19 ;D

Chookie, that bread looks amazing. Is it hard to make ???

Amy,  this recipe is very easy.  You need a sourdough starter.  This one sits in the fridge over night and is cooked next day.  i freeze half and we work on 1/2. Have posted recipe.

Today has been a busy one. I started the day with Nay Nay,s scones for morning coffee at school. I made a whole batch and didn't come home with any. They disappeared really quickly, and they were really easy to make too. I mixed them up first thing, popped them in the oven, had my shower, and in no time at all they were ready, I even had some apple and strawberry jam that I had made in my TC to go with them.
I have been cooking for a special birthday lunch for my parents on Sunday, so I have made a stout chocolate cake, a cheesecake, a slab of brownies, tenia's Crio Misu, and some chocolate almond clusters.  It's my father's birthday today, so I also made an apple pie which we all enjoyed this afternoon. Dinner tonight was home made pizza and a glass of red wine. Oh, I didn't give the kids red wine LOL
