Judy,  yes i have made the Veroma bread.  Gave it to the chooks. If the oven plays up,  I would use the BBQ. ;D
Unexpected visitors for Dinner so some very busy work with TMX.  Made...
Corned beet in Varoma,  thanks for this excellent recipe Judy
12 bread rolls, 1/2 bread flour and 1/2 plain flour. Cooked flat with tray on top.
Cooked Coffee slice,  to spoil DH as he cleaned the tiles in the kitchen that I can't reach
Impossible coconut pie,  no sugar.
Cheese sauce for Cauli. That terrific "awesome" one.

I had a dose of insomnia this morning so got up at 3.30 to stop looking at the ceiling and start cooking.  I made a batch of basic biscuits but amused myself by making very very small ones with a melon baller that I then rolled in sugar.  I also made an apple and blueberry slice which was a little scorched because my oven was getting revenge on me for lack of use (my convection microwave died last night so I'm back to using my normal oven which has a love hate relationship with me.)  I also had a couple of ramekins in my 5-in-1 with steel cut oats & dried apple which was my daughter and my breakfast (very yummy).

Tonight I'm making a beef & guiness stew (in the 5-in-1) assuming that my stepfather is nice enough to let me pinch a can of guiness when I pick my car up tonight.  If the 16/17 year old has left any bread, that will accompany the stew.

Am very happy - I got all the cooking I had planned done as well as 7 hard boiled eggs. But I had a minor disaster when I ran out of flour and found I did not actually have a bag in the bottom of the pantry - oops.  :-\ But... I only needed 150gm more in my bread, so made it up with GF flour, closed my eyes and carried on.... and guess what, you would never tell!!! I now have 3 happy girls who have been playing with playdoh most of the day (I did 4 different colors), 2 big pizzas cooling on the racks, hard boiled eggs cooling, & pizza scrolls, vegemite and cheese scrolls, a loaf of bread and some cheese and bacon buns on the hot mats just out of the oven!  ;D
:D

You girls certainly have been busy.
I must get around to doing corned beef in the varoma. I usually do it in the slow cooker.

I've thought a couple of times about doing corned beef in the Varoma, but I've been doing it for so many years in a pressure cooker.  My Varoma is a very under utilised piece of equipment but I have never been a big fan of steaming things.  We have a wizz bang steamer that my husband bought and is the only one who ever uses it (about once every two years :) ).  I tend to bung vegetables etc in the microwave (or at least I did until last night sob sob sob).  I may have to pull the Varoma out in the next few days while I am microwaveless.

I love the slow cooker for corned beef as you can pop it in and forget about it - nothing can go wrong.
Love veggies in the microwave. If mine broke down I'ld straight out and buying another one.

Hi Tam, I'd love to hear how your wontons turn out tonight!!
Hi Amy,
The wontons turned out great - except I was impatient and didn't wait long enough for the edges to steam :'(. The kids totally loved them and I'll definitely be making them again.
