i hadn't tried it before and it wasn't great (not bad though) - i just put in hulled strawberries and chocolate chips (usually i use cocoa to make chocolate custard but thought the "real" thing might be better with this flavour, but i didn't really have enough of either flavour in it!

...  Made the broccoli terrine and steamed some carrot and zucchini ribbons .....
- was it worth all the effort?  No, I don't think so. DH liked the broccoli terrine (I'd call them timbales as they were made in individual pots) but it all took too long and I was over it by the time it was served. ....

Shame JD - might have to check out the recipe.  I make broccoli timbales and don't think it is too difficult.  :-\  I'll get my Italian copy and check the ricetta.
Forgot to tell you Thermomixer that the broccoli terrine (timbales to us) were much better reheated the next day, seemed firmer or something. Think I will post the recipe in the vegie section.

Made a steamed chicken and vegetable dish tonight with ponzu sauce. Needs a couple of tweaks, all in all was well liked. Will post recipe next week when I can get away with making it again and have tried out the tweaks  ;)

LOL

last night we did pizza, so a GF dough and a regular dough.

today so far i've made lattes and babycinos (the lite milk gives way less froth than skim, hardly any froth actually), double batch of rice milk and an apple tea cake.

Hehe, the weight gain was one reason I hesitated.  Now I think "stuff it" - and I do, stuff my belly LOL.  No not really but oh so yummy what comes out of it.

Yesterday I only made juice as I was at work all day.  Today we have made banana pikelets, a juice to come soon and for tea Potato Rosti.  I have sent DH to the shops with a list with plans for tommorrow.

I need to do a meal plan for the week.  Perhaps we could have that as a thread?

Today I made the playdough for Miss 3 and her friend (she's having a sleep over here tonight - so far so good... but i won't speak too loudly just yet..... they're finally asleep).  Also though i'd test out Thermomixers Chicken Nuggets on the tough judges and they loved them. For us the cheese made them rather rich, so perhaps next time I'd use 40-50g, as I only had 70g tonight to use.  But otherwise they are fantastic! Well done Thermomixer.
