I've made my first batch of young-berry jam (they're kinda like blackberries or boysenberries...we have a patch of them with thousands of berries on this year, and we've already had a berry smoothie in the TM today). It's fabulous, and I'll post the recipe with pic shortly.  Just like Karen I've found that other jams I've made in TM to be runny too....I don't think the recipes were originally tested!  I've found one needs to cook for a lot longer, or on varoma with the basket over the lid opening (to stop the splashes).
For dinner, we're gonna make artichoke and feta risotto.

the pasta dough was great! the pasta maker was stuffed :( i have to call the place mum got it from and try to find out what's wrong with it (it cuts the dough perfectly but rolling is nearly impossible, the rollers just keep getting stuck)

dh went out and got me some more jars this mroning so i'm going to make another batch of the strawberry "jam" aka sauce and add the vanilla vodka (eventually essence) i have brewing in my cupboard - mmmmmmmmmmm!

Karen, I have vanilla vodka/essence brewing in my pantry too. I can't wait to use it.  I've seen some photos of it on other forums and theirs looks lovely, so I hope mine turns out as well.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Strawberry Jam recipe in up dated Everyday book will say to leave the pips in...Strawberry Jam is also better at the beginning of the season when Strawbs are more acidic...I use Jamsetter, it is only Citric pectin, nothing nasty! The pips will help the jam set as they have pectin in them (from the lemon)Good luck in the future!

we havne't been able to get the jam setter at the supermarket but apparently it's available at magnet mart - hopefully i can get some tomorrow :)

tonight i made the UK shortbread recipe but used brown sugar instead of white and added whole macadamias and whizzed them at speed 6 for about 4 seconds. OMG the mix tasted sooooo good before cooking! (i can't taste after as it's for a gift lol!)

I've just made the Chocolate Brownies from the Gluten free book.  The raw mixture was oh so nice. Hopefully the baked version will be just as good.
I've also used the thermomix to speed up the making of some mini plum puddings.  It made the job so much quicker. Usually the crumbling of the cake and melting chocolate is time consuming.  Not this year, I was really speedy.  Might even do another batch to take out tonight-everyone will think I've spent ages making them! ;)

I made a double batch of Dukkah from the everyday book, to give as gifts to friends.
I have also printed out the recipe for Tenina's Jaffa chocolate biscuits and will make them tonight - again to give as gifts!
I had a lovely time away and ate some fantastic food in Italy and Paris, but I missed the Thermomix almost as much as I missed the other 2 kids - of course I wouldn't tell them though!! ;)

today i had to miss out on my usual porridge for breakie as i was busy making a very last minute batch of lemon curd for teacher gifts (was a double or more mix so took about 10 or so minutes to cook)

tonight i had a go at making a flourless (gluten-less) chocolate cake recipe but i wasn't following very well so not sure how it will go. will make it again and write a conversion if it's okish

No biscuits made here last night, but today I have made the Maple Caramel icecream and I have a batch of pecan Craisin shortbread in the oven right now!

The chocolate brownies were ever so delicious.  Very rich, but still nice.  They had the usual brownie type top, (hard to cut without cracking it into lots of pieces), but the centre is so smooth and rich.  Would make a lovely sweet as well, with cream or icecream, or even both.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
