Well, as of tomorrow, I will have had my TM for a week (and I love it) and so far I have made:
Steamed Pork buns (for my meat eating friends)
Steamed Vegetarian buns
Steamed custard buns
Chai Tea
Orange and Carrot Juice
butter
custard
Shrimp dumplings
Flourless chocolate cake < Teresa cutter recipe (really good, I can post the converted recipe if you want it)
Chocolate self-saucing pudding (with real dark chocolate, the best I have ever made... ever!)
Cyndi O'meara bread
Wholemeal rolls
Soy milk
Fruit Scones
Potato and leek soup
Smoothies
Cocktails
Sweet chilli relish (asian dipping sauce)

haha! Obession much? I'm not normally this productive... I think I might just have to settle my excitement down a bit. Karen3 is coming around to do a demonstration tonight, so I will have a night off! lol

Made a really flavoursome meal called Lemon & Coriander Chicken (though I don't like fresh coriander so used cont. parsley).

Made the main meal on the stove top and used the TM for firstly making a spice paste, then I cooked some cubed potatoes in the strainer basket to then make sauteed potatoes, and also some veg (sweet potato, brussel sprouts, that were quite big so halved them, thick cut sliced carrot and green beans) in the Varoma.

Was a really lovely meal enjoyed by all.  :)

I get all excited when I see your name under the above subject JulieO as I know we are getting another beautiful photo. ;) ;)
Looks great - I love coriander though, never used to but I just love the smell of it on my fingers when I've picked it fresh from the herb patch.

Thanks Judy  ;D  I love ground coriander but the fresh stuff to me tastes like soap!  :o     :D  so I always substitute the parsley in place of.  Maybe one day I'll grow to like it.

I never used to like olives either, but now I really like them,  though only sliced and in small amounts.  ;D

You do do magnificent photos JulieO.  Think you are going to be a candidate for the Curry book that's just come out looking at your posts.  Look forward to seeing some of the converted recipes.........

Meagan, I firstly cut some peeled potatoes into cubes and put in the strainer basket, put 500g of water in the TM bowl and add a pinch of salt.
Put the basket in the bowl, cook on varoma temp/15 mins/speed  ^^

When cooked, remove basket from bowl.  Place a large frypan on to med/high heat.  Add some oil  and a knob of butter, when heated add the potatoes.  Resist the urge to stir them until you can see the bottom are golden, then stir and turn over, leave again and then turn when golden. They don't take very long, and a nice change from mash.

Julie, your posts make me hungry...  ;D

Today - rice/almond milk, soup, mashed potato, Cyndi's veg stew, peanut butter, grated cheese, chocolate milkshake...  Not sure what else.  I have lots of milk (thanks to Lucy the cow) so need to think of a dessert to make to use some up.  Might do another batch of yoghurt, and some 'cheese' from the yoghurt.

You're very clever with your TM Julie. I keep learning from everyone about their tricks and hints, things I wouldn't have thought of. Thanks!

As usual great photos Julie. You're an inspiration to try new things.

My Thermomix arrived today and by 12 I managed to get the toddler into bed for a nap and I sat down to a bowl of piping hot potato and leek soup (EDC) Oh my goddess. So divine and simple. I think I'm in love!

I've got some milk cubes freezing as we speak to make strawberry ice cream when DS comes home from school. Oh and I've got some buttermilk left over in the fridge so I'm going to make scones too. I also saw the hazelnut spread. Mmmmm. :D

DP is a former baker/pastry chef so I think he'll be taking over tonight to make some bread and assess the new addition to the family ;)

It looks as though I'll be a regular poster in this thread. JulieO lovely photos as always. I must try those potatoes!

I'm glad someone else loves this soup!! We loved it too and was one of the first things I made with my machine. :)
