Made chicken caesar pizza tonight on the BGE :)   Actually, I was giving my son lessons.  The dough was made by hand, but the dressing was made in the TM

And then I made some tapioca pudding all in the TM.

You can find the recipe for the tapioca by clicking here.

Unconundrum, This looks lovely. I've copied it down and will make it. I'll probably wait until the weather cools down a bit.  Will let you know how it goes. I haven't had tapioca since I was a kid, we used to call it "frog's eyes".

Today we've had the usual milk shakes, DH made his special custard rice pudding using custard powder and I've just made the pastry for a quiche.  I also made tha base of a slice called Dream slice.  I was a bit scared to do the top as it had eggs beaten with sugar until they were thick-am I able to do this and incorporate lots of air on the thermomix?  Will have to get brave and try it some time.

Thanks Karen, I will be brave next time. I seem to remember someone (it may have been you) say that if you turn the butterfly up further than 4 it will "butterfly". Silly the way we remember things!!
Nice to see you supporting thermomix on other sites.

A little trick is to whip the egg whites first with the Butterfly, remove and the do the yolks and sugar until creamy, then add back the egg whites and whip a little longer with butterfly.  A bit more fiddly, but more air in the mix.

I made a carrot salad to take to a bbq yesterday, but completely over-processed the herbs which made the salad a very dodgy colour indeed.  ???   When I refine the processing times a little I will post it!

Cooks Illustrated had a good recipe this month for Swedish Meatballs.  I played around with the recipe abit, adapted it to the TM, and served it over pasta made with the TM..   :)
