Uni you make me so clucky with the pictures - I love newborns!  She is so beautiful

I'm a big fan of newborns too. Nothing more relaxing than rocking a baby in your arms.
It's a pity I wasn't more relaxed and enjoyed the moment when I had my two.

I love babies too but when they become toddlers and tell you they love you soooo much, it melts your heart.

Funny I was thinking exactly that earlier today Judy.  :)
"My GD aged 4 just came to me in the park and put her arms around me and said "I love you Nanna"  ;D
It's moments like that when you appreciate what is really important in life and very special.
Beats expensive gifts any day of te week  ;D

The same thing I make nearly every day (sometimes twice a day if the missus asks specially). Soda Farls

Later some iced puffy pastry, for making Mince Tart for tea and strongly considering these gingerbread men http://www.acanadianfoodie.com/2010/12/05/grandma-maudes-great-big-soft-gingerbread-cookies , particularly for taking to a friends tomorrow (she is throwing a Canadian thanksgiving dinner tomorrow)

Indeed, much nicer than the kidified version :)

I had some of my runny Tenina's lemon curd left over from my disappointing nigella lemon puddings and have visitors coming for tea for "taco night". So I've whizzed up some strawberry sauce with some fresh and some frozen strawberries and some frozen pound cake and made a strawberry and lemon curd triffle
I do the best I can
