My brother and SIL are dropping in today on their way home from Brisbane and DH gets back with the kids today. I don't know what time they will be arriving so just made some of Cyndi's sausage rolls and was going to make Cookies beetroot and cashew nut dip and realised DH has taken the can opener camping. Can't believe I only have 1. Can't be bothered going to the shops to get another one so it's sausage rolls and fruit platter.

i hope u r my SS next year  ;D

Have made zucchini mini quiches (for morning tea/lunch), a loaf of bread (for nibbles), and some oreo cookie pops (just because).

And we have a lamb leg in the BBQ for dinner and new potatoes fresh from FILs garden in the pot to be cooked.

SIL has made egg salad & coleslaw to bring round (much as I told her I could do it in 5 seconds), so should be a yummy dinner.

Mmmm rhubarb ripple sounds great. I LOVE rhubarb.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

Today I've made coleslaw, egg & potato salad, a vienna loaf, chocolate ice-cream ready to churn later tonight, stewed some cherries and made brandy custard.

Nothing today. I am sick of the weather. 41 last time I checked. Judy you had nasty hot weather last year, I hope this doesn't come over to you.
We went out to lunch today and dinner is 'get your own' from all the leftovers around.

The zebra cake worked out quite well.

The raspberry flavour comes through well. I'll put the link in later as I still can't do it on the iPad. 😪
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I hope not either Cookie, it has been quite good to date and this week is only going to be mid - high 30's so nothing like you've had over there.  So far haven't even had to turn the a/c on - the roller shutters and the afternoon sea breezes are doing their jobs.  I hope you guys get some respite from the heat very soon but please don't send it our way  ;D

Well made my zucchini slice 'stack' , bread rolls and onion tarts (kids have demolished over half of it all while it was on the cooling racks...  :-)) ) and I also made 3 different fruit puree combos - peach and pear, apple and blueberry, and apricot - for the girls to have in their porridge. They had some in milk as a smoothie with their lunch.  :D Nice to know my cooking is appreciated!!  ;)
