Here is the Molasses bread I made. The recipe is from Not Quite Nigella's blog. Next time I make it I think I will substitute the molasses with honey, malt or golden syrup. I may even try some fruit in it. I love how it sort of has porridge in it.
I tried this with butter on, but it is better with something sweet on it.

I just finished making flour tortillas for the monsters to eat for lunch and will make naans and chilli jam this afternoon once we have finished dog proofing (temporarily) the backyard.  I'll probably make a chocolate cake and some cookies once I get inspired with a recipe as the biscuit barrel is COMPLETELY empty.  I have to get the urge to get groceries so that I can cook but I think after we burn the credit card at bunning buying wire, my trolley at the grocery store will be a little emptier than usual.  There are some anzac cookie recipes in the latest Super Food Ideas that look nice...and have chocolate in them :)...might be my consolation.

I just googled for you Maddy. Flapjacks are commonly called pancakes in America and Canada ;)
