Awesome looking layers Cookie, I can't wait to see the finished cake :D :D :D
Those brownies look delicious too ;D

I think I'll make some ANZAC biscuits today. I haven't baked for a while so it will be nice to get back in the kitchen. I also have to bake my brother's birthday cake in the next couple of days. I'm going to do a layered white and dark chocolate mud cake :)

Lovely cooking everyone.  Can't wait for life to get back to normal here.  I think I have time to get some cookies made before my friend arrives.

Nothing yet. My sneezes and I/me have done some housework. I don't know if I should sleep, make some bread or do the ironing.

Rosella Jam and Lemon Curd made, bottled and water bath processed and ready for a Mothers day stall.  I've now got plum jam bubbling away and once its done I'm off to get more eggs so I can make some lime curd.  A few bottles of BBQ and Red Pepper sauce and I'm done with my commitment (must remember the word NO next time).  At least its given me a reason to hide from the two sick teenagers who are home with me today....who said working from home was a good idea!...back to the office tomorrow.

Sleep Cookie ;) Then when you feel more rested you will probably enjoy making the bread more and get through the ironing faster :)

I gave some to mum and dad and dh's mates and we still have a lot ;D

I've got some ironing you can do cookie - and I don't mind if you sneeze whilst doing it.
Actually - forget the ironing, go have a lay down, the wrinkly clothes will still be there next week.  ;D

I am cooking...spare ribs for dinner - love the recipe in the QFITT.

That's logic Amy. I tried and we had visitors. I ended up just sitting reading after they left. I have some sourdough starter being refreshed so tomorrow should be the day.
I did put the cake together and ice it.

Did you post any photos of the cake Cookie?

Yesterday I made two mud cakes and some vanilla ice cream. Today I need to decorate the cakes, eek! I love decorating cakes but I can only manage the fairly basic techniques. Anything too hard ends up looking like **** :-))

Fingers crossed :)
