Thermowoman is the cord totally extended? Test the scales are correct by putting the lid in locked lid position and tare the scales then put the MC in - it should weigh between 20 and 30 gms.

Sorry JD - suddenly woke up and thought - Ribena is made of blackcurrants you dummy - so hope you didn't try making the cordial.     :-[ :-[ :-[

Think it might be better to use for ice cream, sorbets or smoothies. Sorry JD

You were right the first time Thermomixer. Blackberry Blueberry ribena was introduced to the UK market in 2006.  Don't know if we can get it here or not though. I'll try it, got nothing to lose and it will mean another space in the freezer  ;)

To use up some left-over roast pork I made a shepherd's pie - made the whole thing in my TMX. Made another batch of raspberry cordial.  I have some blueberries in the freezer I want to get rid of - has anyone made cordial out of them? I love the raspberry but don't know about a blueberry drink.
Blueberry is what I first tried. Nobody at my place likes it as much as has raspberry. I don't think I'll ever do that one again but mulberry was good.  ;)

what about a mixed berry, with the blueberries being the lesser quantity?

Oops I meant blueberry in the above thread - all these berries are confusing me.  Think I might use them now for my next pavlova roll instead after reading nay-nay's comment.

I used some of MJ's wheat from Meagan's house yesterday to make some bread. Very nice, despite my SIL telling me all these awful stories about the wheat and how it wouldn't rise etc. I should parcel it up and send it to her to prove how lovely it is.

Yes I have that box but havn't tried it. Might stick to raspberry while it's still a hit and try something new when it starts getting tired.  ;)
