Cream Puff, you might need some burn cream. Nasty burn. Hope it heals quickly.

Wow Astarra that's a lot of cooking. His do you cook the zucchini muffins? They look like individual squares.

CP look after your hand.

Cold water is the best thing to do cp. Hope it's not too sore. Lucky about the oven door.
Astarra you are amazing. Great food. 1kg of grated cheese is a grata effort, well done to little miss.
Hit here too. Reached 45c yesterday. Similar today. So not much cooking. Yesterday I made super fast raspberry icecream and KIS tandoori chicken salad. Today made EDC Coleslaw, EDC beetroot salad and I love your potato salad.  Finished with wholefoods caramel fudge, which is made from macadamia nuts and dates only. It's very moorish.

Cooking is for this weekend - we have a family of 4 (2adults&2kids) coming to stay from tomorrow night til Sunday morning, we have extra visitors coming in for tea on Saturday night, and we also have 18 visitors coming to a dinner at mid-day on Sunday. Totally in my zone - I love cooking and having visitors, haven't done alot of it since I had miss6mths....

Wonder, the zucchini muffins are little squares - done in a square tin, can post a pic if you like??  :) I got them for $7each at Coles.

You must have done something right with that burn CP, us girls are always doing something silly like that.

Astarra, what a cook up, what's the occasion or did you just feel like filling the freezer?  What a great effort too for a 7 year old to be able to grate a whole kg of cheese the old fashioned way - that's a lot of grating for little hands.

Astarra you have been very busy. It looks delicious.

CP if your burn isn't sore it could be a deep burn. Keep an eye on it. It will be lovely to have your DH home.

I heard it sizzle before I felt it  :D actually it doesn't even hurt - I think I stuck it in my mouth so quick, thats why I dropped the pot onto the glass. I've got some pawpaw ointment on it with one of those waterproof bandaids. One of the hazards of getting excited when you bring bread out of the oven  :D

As soon as you said you can' t feel it I thought the same thing cookie.

Be careful with that finger CP. You may need something more for it than papaya ointment.

OK, that may explain why it doesn't hurt cos I was surprised that its gone through a few layers and there's an open wound. Normally when I've burnt myself there is a blister and it hurts like crazy. I was told "no brain, no pain" so I was fine with it.
I'll see if I can rustle up some Betadine. thanks everyone  :-* :-* :-* :-*

It's handy having some nurses (or Mums of nurses) on here for moments like this CP.  Their advice is always welcome.

I just followed the edc milkshake recipe doubling the ice and ice cream and added caramel sauce that I had left over from my sticky date puddings, if we had gone to the dome for morning tea it would of easily cost us $50 thank goodness for the tmx and since all was made by me knew exactly what they were having
