Wow, what an effort mab19. All I've made are some Anzac biscuits. Today I used the recipe in Mum's 1948 CWA book.

Anzac bickies using quirky jo's recipe for morning tea at the park with the kids (DH ate about half the batch so must have been good...) and pizzas for dinner here to use up last of the veg and leftover roast. Might take a leaf out of Gert's book this coming week and take inspiration from my pantry

Ran out of snacks for the kids in the freezer. So, had to make mochi cheese puffs and CP's blueberry muffins.
Lunch was char koay teow (Penang fried rice noodles).
Slow cooking bolognese sauce on the stovetop at the moment, for spag bol dinner.

I noticed Mum only had a couple of items I'd given her in her freezer today so made her a batch of
Potato & Sweetcorn soup
tonight.

Just catching up. Great cooking girls. Other than the main meals that I have posted under Gert's thread I am making more Cumquat jam. All the last 2 lots I've given away. It is particularly nice.

I made Lorraine Pascale's frangipane tart, i subbed apricots for pears.
Showcased thermie beautifully. I made EDC sweet shortcrust ( 20 secs) then ground whole almonds 7 secs, threw the restvof the ingreds in speed 8 for 10 seconds.
It tastes really nice.

P S.
I think I would blind bake the pastry, it taste nice but the middle of the base could have had a little longer. Or perhaps just do a shortcrust with less eggs ( the new EDC sweet shortcrust has 3 egg yolk, my usual only has one and - tablespoon of cold water )
