What a lateral thinker you are Chookie.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Thanks for thinking of me Chookie, I will make a note of your instructions for when I finally do make that recipe and have room in the freezer.

Not really Cookie.  Just desperate. If I didn’t freeze them I would eat them.

Finished the jam and jelly making. Made 10 medium size jars of Crab Apple jelly which set beautifully.   10 large jars of Blood Plum and Raspberry.  That should do for a while.

Curried scallops for dinner and cold corned beef with salad for lunch.

Up early again and cooked a small roast beef before the kitchen gets too hot.

Braised Steak and Onions in the SC.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Crab Apple Jelly, the leftover bit.  The jam spoon is from Canada

I used the rest of the Danish Pastry dough yesterday. I made mini crossaints and some roll things with chocolate. I rolled the dough quite thinly this time, however I think I did it too thin!
Like you Chookie I have put most of them in the freezer.

Cookie, they look delicious. I love how these pastries reheat in the AF.

The jelly looks nice Chookie, I’ve never tasted it myself.
Love your pastries too cookie, I’m a sucker for anything with pastry.

I made my no-added sugar strawberry mousse today after picking up 2 punnets of strawberries for $3 yesterday. http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=8066.0

Had to pop the SD Hot X Bun mix in the fridge as it was rising too fast last night.
A test run today.  Will make 16 buns so looks like neighbours will be getting some.
I have tried freezing some of the yeast buns, after 2 nd rise. Will see how these go when baked.
Will try the same with SD ones. This could be a life saver for busy people, if successful.

Pork loin. Not sure how I will cook it. Sliced and grilled or roasted. Veggies from garden.

Not as brown as photo.

Much lighter than usual for SD buns.  The trick is in the 2 rises. Don’t be impatient.
