Yes, a slow process but worth it in the end Chookie.

The hot cross buns look delicious Chookie.  So does your strawberry mousse Judy.

I did an overnight fruit loaf so I have that rising at the moment. I didn't put any chocolate in this one as it melts in the hot weather.http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=17347.0
I also need to make a Classic  loaf today.http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=16597.0
My starter is almost active enough, and it will still rise etc because of the warm weather.

You have all inspired me to do some cooking today. A nice cool breeze helped too  ;D
So far I've made Halex's Zucchini pesto scrolls, Dede's Raspberry (actually strawberry) coconut slice and Icelandic banana bread and Oatloaf . Chookies no fuss bread is still rising, and the beef roast is nearly defrosted. Most of the scrolls that were to be frozen for lunches didn't make it to the freezer. Some of them didn't even make it into the first photo  :-)) And these photos were taken less than 10 minutes apart about 20 minutes ago, so it wasn't even lunch time :P
PS Just tried a scroll before they all disappear. They are really good :)

Cooking up a storm on a Sunday, great going girls.  Whatever would your family snack on if you didn’t have these cookups Gayle?

Lol Judy. I think that our grocery bill would be truly frightening instead of a bit scary. :D

But not as bad as if you bought what you have baked. The scrolls look delicious, no wonder they disappeared.
Today I converted a pork recipe to TMX.  It was really nice.   It is a recipe from the Blood Sugar Diet by Michael Mosley.
Ral and I are going to give this Diet a go.  I battle to keep within a safe level with carbs and he could also could do with losing some weight. He loves his chocolate and I love my bread.  Difficult for both of us.  It is basically a Mediterranean diet but with 800 calories a day for 8 weeks.
I am glad the taste testing for the Hot X Buns is out of the way.

Blimey Gayle you had a production line going in your kitchen today. It all looks wonderful.

Good luck with your 8 week Mediterranean Diet Chookie.

Your baking looks very good too Cookie.

800cals would be easy if you’re following a recipe plan as the calorie counting is done for you. I have no trouble with the 500 cals twice a week when I do the fasting diet.  For bread and chocolate lovers though it will certainly be a challenge with Easter on our doorstep. Good luck Chookie.  I will follow your posts with interest to read what you’re cooking.

Judy, no bread except for some stuff that I wouldn’t bother making.
Breakfast,  2 egg omelette with 4 cherry tomatoes and lots of green herbs
Coffee
Lunch, 8 grilled asparagus spears topped with 65 g grilled Halloumi over Cold Slaw
Dinner, minced beef lettuce wraps. 115 g beef, lettuce leaf cups, cheddar cheese 25 g and a tomato

You are correct, it is easy to check the calories and carbs with an on line diary.
