Today I made fresh juice for my breakfast and the kids had some before they went to school. Then I am going to make avocado dip.

Have started a new healthy lifestyle, just joined the gym (must have nuts in my head), walked to music club for my DD music. In desperate need of distressing, hope this helps.

For lunch today we had roast lamb & root vegies in the weber, steamed cauliflower (with rice in the basket for the freezer ) - didn't want to waste all that lovely steam and I made 1/2 quantity of cheese sauce.  Made a cake with Chookies apple & lemon curd in the centre then realised she had already put her Belgium Lemon Teacake recipe on the forum and I could have used the curd in that.  :-)) :-))

Today making,  Pumpkin soup,  and some Sour Dough Bread.  Probably make some Ginger Biscuits as we (and others) have eaten all the anzacs.  Might make some of those lovely Custard Biscuits,(thanks CJ),  these are my DH favs.  Find that I am using the2 bowls nearly every day.   I left the sour dough to rise in one over night,  saved washing another bowl.

Only bread dough and polenta today as I had a trip to town. Last night I made a coleslaw and chopped up some broccoli to add to it, gorgeous!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Made Cyndi's power shake, Isi's bread, steamed swiss chard (with other veg above) then blitzed it with bit of sour cream and some nutmeg.  Tomorrow I'm set to make some rhubarb jam and some rhubarb compote with the rhubarb I harvested from the allotment today (hurray for rhubarb season!  ;D )
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

Well, yesterday I made Bimby's chocolate cake again, some pecan & date icecream from the Vegetarian cookbook (will post a review once we have eaten some - we went out for tea last night) and some bacon & cheese muffins from the Budget Busters Cookbook.

Today I have made the Chocolate Alternative from the Vegetarian cookbook and then began to make the Sunshine balls and discovered I didn't have any oatmeal so used some oat brits and weetbix to make up the weight of the oatmeal and used apple sauce instead of banana in case my DH who normally loves them doesn't like this version. I don't like bananas so wouldn't have eaten them either. At least this way if she doesn't like them I can eat them. Am probably going to make some soup for tea but am tossing up which one to make.

My 17 yr old DS told our friends last night that he doesn't like the TMX because I spend too much time cooking instead of doing his ironing. Can't wait to see his face when I tell him I am going to start charging him to do his ironing.
