Good on you Grandma. No cooking in this heat but I did boil some eggs for an egg and lettuce sandwich for lunch.

Nothing today as it's far too hot.  Over the past few days I have made several lots of shortbread, chop chip cookies and roasted a turkey roll to have for lunches
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I made a batch of Spiced Nuts and Cranberries, but they caught a bit and don’t taste the best.
DH and I made a large batch of Bread and Butter cucumbers.  I did a rye SD loaf that’s rising in the fridge and a batch of Parmesan and Rosemary rolls.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Yummo Cookie.
Made 22 rye crumpets.
The puff pastry for the sausage rolls, I left to defrost in the fridge overnight. I usually use it straight from the freezer. When baked , the pastry looked different. I found that when  reheating the rolls in the microwave the pastry still remained crisp. Usually it goes soft.
