Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding tonight, pretending it's cold in FNQ.  The pudding is still in the oven, but it's the BEST I've ever done - like a golden crown - thank you Thermomix!

Did the Asian fish fillets practicing for a Varoma demo. Hubbie doesn't like coriander or lemongrass so he scraped it all off!!!  In return I am now shouting over the bannisters on how he can make custard as he wants dessert........... :P

Today I made a quiche, ginger biscuits and a quick chicken noodle soup but mine probably won't be used all weekend as I have plenty of food to last a few days.  I am spending too much time in the kitchen lately and not getting anything else done so will have to reverse that trend over the weekend.

I made  a tomatillo avocado salsa  in the Thermomix to go with carnitas. Mother-in-law is visiting and is fascinated with the  Thermomix. She read the  manual cover to cover.

This morning DD and I made some Anzac biscuits (although will reduce the sugar by 1/3 - 1/2 next time!), Patty Cakes (from the forum - great recipe!), raison bread, sausage rolls (also made my own 'sausage mince' - should post it before I forget it), more vegie stock concentrate, have a roast rack of home grown lamb in the oven, will steam vegies, make gravy and hopefully chicken and vegie stock for work on Monday as all my cooking tomorrow will be for others.

Big cooking weekend, first weekend I've had off work for a while.  Too many babies.

Sat night chicken poached in tarragon with vegetables (non-thermomix)

Sun going to a friend's house - 'bring a plate'.  I'm bringing 3:

- Grilled Italian vegetables
- Chicken legs slow cooked in the Weber bullet in an Asian type marinade
- Mandarin bavarois/jelly for dessert

Yes it is, modified from a very famous Australian cook, Stephanie Alexander.  I put it in the dessert section.  Bron, she has a cooking bible called "The Cook's Companion" which I highly recommend.

I've been disappointed with the pizzas I've made - more like bread with pizza toppings on.  Any idea where I'm going wrong?
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!
