Woohoo! Enjoy MIL!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Lucky you! Shame we couldn't have been there to enjoy the fun. DO we get pictures of the first "creation"? :)

Welcome to our obsessive world MIL. You probably won't read these as you will be too busy cooking.

Ahhh yes, I remember the first day.  Seems like a lifetime ago now.  Is it really just 6 months?  How our eating has changed.
Congratulations MIL - enjoy.

don't expect to hear from MIL any time soon.  She has already tackled bread, biscuits and yoghurt and that was before sun down.  You wait - MIL will become a serious contender for the title of most TMX obsessed!

Is there a message icon for exhausted???- after the bread, biscuits and the semi successful yogurt I have now achieved a marvelous peach and banana smoothie (with the runny yogurt) - ideal for DH's breakfast - followed by a quick trip to the fruit shop for further supplies.  This morning has turned out pumpkin soup, tomato relish, further yogurt (looking very good) and ice cream (tasting very good). This is the most wonderful invention - as long as we have time to eat everything before the next wave of creativity hits me.  Thanks for all that wonderful support and sharing - wonder what all the bored people are doing. How true. There is never time to be bored when you own a TMX. I tend to be thinking what will I make now?
