This is a good recipe, nice and thin how I like them.  Generally I halve the recipe and it makes a good breakfast for myself & 2 kids. I love with berries, lemon juice & brown sugar, my 11yo has stawberry jam & walnuts, and my 8yo have golden syrup. Today I only had 1 egg so replaced 40% of the plain flour with chickpea flour and they were still perfect.

Vivaroo,  glad you like them.  Love the toppings you and kidletts add.

This is our favorite crepe recipe also. I normally make half the mixture.

Wonder,  good to know.  There are so many crepe recipes about,  it is hard to know which one to use.  I stick with this one as I have always found it good.  I made 50+ for an Elderly citizens lunch and filled them with apple and berry,  they were re heated for their lunch , and they loved them.

I made the batter for these then forgot about them for a couple of days. I stirred everything back through and cooked them anyway and they were beautiful. I actually cooked them at night and simply reheated for brekkie. My kids love them and ask for them regularly. We have them with a generous smear of Tenina's Strawberry Jam. I'm looking forward to using them in a savoury dish too. 5/5 from us.

These are still a family favourite for us and probably my most used recipe from any cook book, tastes exactly how my Dad used to make them when I was a kid. The reheat well and like Brumington has said if you forget the mixture or have some left over it's still great a few days later.

Hi all. I have the new EDC but I was wondering how many eggs are listed in the ingredients in the old EDC please? The new EDC says 4 eggs, but this just seemed like a lot of egg. After my Creme Brulee disaster I didn't want the pancakes to taste too eggy.

It also says 4 Chocolatte.  Perhaps you'd like to try the recipe I used here as it only has 2.
