Thermomix recipe competition
« on: April 02, 2010, 11:35:29 am »
Thermomixer usually lets us know when the contenders have been put up for these competitions but he is obviously busy this Easter. This last theme was dinner party recipes and all the finalists and their recipes you will find here

Without being biased, can I say Go South Australia ???

Yes, indeed congratulations to all the folks who have recipes on the TMX site. Now I have to get down to trying them.

That was a strange coincidence Chookie, I saw you made prawn crepes the other day and as I had submitted my recipe for the competition I wondered if perhaps my recipe had made it amongst the final choices.  I went looking on the Thermomix site and found it.

If you scroll through all the recipes, after the biscuit one you will find a bit of Thermomix info - click on the word comment and the little box will come up, just take it from there.  Glad you enjoyed them.

Yes and I've tried to get it on my google reader, but it doesn't seem to happen.

Congratulations Amanda, thought that might be you - you never know what Tenina is going to dig out of the archives. How nice there are 3 of us from SA though - with our smaller numbers I am amazed we have 3 recipes in the final choice.  Good luck to you.

These comps are not easy to find - normally Thermomixer makes us aware they are there so without him I guess very few of us would even find them.  I think Tenina should have her own little thread on our forum and pop in occasionally to keep us informed. I too signed up for notifications of the recipe blog, sometimes I get one and sometimes I don't - maybe once this new site is up and running it will be more efficient.

Thanks Chookie.

We may not have received feeds because the Post, although dated in March did not actually hit the Internet until April 1 or 2 ?

Not sure - I check regularly and know it wasn't there at the end of March.

I would love HQ to send everyone an email when they are posted - they did for a couple of months.

Good luck to all combatants.
