Crikey ! We're only just coming to the Finals of the previous Aussie series here in the Uk.  And it's running alongside the finals of our own contest so it's pretty busy on the TV right now  ;D ;D

Don't tell me who won your show - I'm trying to be strong and not google it to find out  ;)

I'm hoping I don't get as addicted as last time!! I watched every episode and then was the only person in Australia that didn't see the very last one!! :-)) :-\

Even my kids were addicted to this show.
They are certainly advertising the pants off it A.T.M.

I just hope someone wins this year, that I think is more worthy of the title "Master Chef" and not just a good home cook.
Sorry if that offends anyone  :)

Can't wait!  Just wish they'd advertise a starting date instead of coming soon.  I'm in cooking show withdrawals since the finish of my kitchen rules.

I'll be away when it starts for a few weeks as I was last year. It didn't take me long to catch up though. I actually bought the DVD of the demonstration recipes. Can't remember what they are called.

i have to agree maddy, the winner! is a good cook just not a master chef as such, i like poh's show on the abc

i am really looking forward to having another cooking show on also, especially seeing the tmx on it again, i think is exciting.  masterchef starts on 19th april. yay  :D

I'll watch parts - probaably use the recorder and FF most of it.  It drove me mad with the continual repeating of scenes.

It is not for the most acclompished home chef, but for somebody interesting and reasonable at cooking who has a personality, photographs well, plays the game and can afford to put their life on hold for 8 months.  They started filming in October last year and will finish in July !!

A friend was asked to be a judge and he said how could you possibly run a business and be away for most of the year?

They deserve what comes to them from TV programs such as this - not for your average punters.

Good luck to the poor buggers.

Well the problem with these shows is, we have no TV  reception at our place. Now Monday - Wednesday, I stay at my Mum's for work, and can see some TV there, but any other day is out of the question, so not much chance. Unless of course, do they have a download version on the Internet?

That reminds me, I missed this weeks episode of Survivor:Heroes & Villians! That evil Russell is giving us good Russell's a bad reputation, i want him off!! I bet Jeff could use a Thermomix for those horrible food challenges they have on Survivor. OOh, I just had a great idea for a new show - Survivor Masterchef!!!

Russell.
