My Way of Cooking - How do I get a copy?
« on: April 13, 2010, 06:47:38 am »
As per title, I seem to be having real troubles getting my hands on this book.  My consultant has told me it's not available for general sale, as was only available as an incentive last month.  Is this correct?  ???

I very rarely get a chance to jump on the net to grab recipes, thanks to a 16 month old that can't seem to leave me only for 5 minutes, and a lack of printer at home, so I only really get to jump on when I'm at work, which is not always a great idea.

Now I find out I can't get this book, and I can only buy the varoma full steam ahead book if I host a demo.

Grrrrr.... Why don't they just sell books, I already forked out my $1949.00 now I just want some recipes!  Any suggestions on how to get my hands on these books?

At the moment its not available for purchase by consultants or customers. Maybe it will be avaible in the future. Im sure when it does become available you will hear about it from your constultant or here!

I don't understand Vorwerk's tight fisted hold on their recipe books.  ???
It would seem to me that it would be good marketing to get these books out into the public arena.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I think anything that will promote more sales of the Thermomix should be done. It is very expensive and quite a different way of cooking so books are a great help. Only my thoughts. :-))

I spoke to the sales dept at head office last week about this very thing.  I was told that they are waiting on approval to offer this book for general sale.  She told me that they hope to have an answer this month and that we will be told via the internet when it becomes available.  The only hicup seems to be stock and if there is enough for general sales.

I went to HO to pick up something I had purchased, and asked if I could just have a quick flick through it. Was told flatly no because it is wrapped in plastic. (I didn't ask if I could rip a page out  :-)) :-))) My interest in this book is starting to wane.

The book has been a big hit with consultants as an incentive and so we are actually out of stock, but have been told by Vorwerk, all good by middle of year, so apparently will be for sale as all other publications in July...but don't quote me!  ;D

Thanks Tenina! Would be nice if the other TMX staff were as helpful as you, I couldn't even get an answer on the phone today about whether or not it would ever be available let alone when! Cheers
