Thanks Chookie, took me long enough.  You need a magnifying glass to see it though!

I find many of my "kitchen essentials" in the art supply shop.   I have a stippling brush that has long, very stiff bristles that works a treat for getting those little sticky bits out of tight places.

Why does the brush not come with the TMX anyway?? I have had my brush for just a couple of weeks, and (I feel silly for saying this) I LOVE IT!  Has reduced the number of times I have to unlock the blades alot.  For a brush that only costs $5....why is it not supplied with the machine?

Since this was first mooted Helene's superkitchenmachine.com  has surpassed all the brushed for the blades in my opinion. It is much better than  my gun brush which is still pretty good.

I find the Ikea brushes are great. I can normally clean in and around the blades without removing them, whereas with Helen's i find they are great if I have the blade out of the machine but too small if it's all still attached. I use the Ikea brush 90% of the time and the Helene's smaller one when I need a really good clean or there is something stuck under the blades.

Wonder, do you mean the Diska brush http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30151479/

Or the Plastis brush? http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/30166126/ or a different one?

I'm hoping to get to Ikea soonish & I'll add it to my list of things to look at.
