Someone else new - just moved to Perth (HELLO)

Hi All
Just wanted to say hi. I am new on here. I have just moved from the NW of WA down to Perth. I bought my Thermomix about 3 months ago but is has been out of action for about a month in transit and then waiting to be unpacked. Am loving using it again, it is still such a novelty. I have heaps to learn and look forward to getting tips, advice and recipes on this forum. Many others from Perth? I would love to join in some cooking classes or get-togethers if you have any.
Thanks

Lived in the NW for a while too find myself missing that red dirt occasionally (can't believe it?) What suburb are you living in. I'm sure you'll love your thermy and the city shopping Cheers

Hi KLC79, welcome to the forum. Glad to hear your TMX is out of the box again - that would have been a hard thing to do. Just getting used to him and having to pack him away. Enjoy yourself on here, we have a lot of fun.

We were up in Newman from 5 years..... I can not imagine myself missing the Red Dirt at all I am afraid! So nice not to have to mop EVERY day. Staying in Leeming, SOR temporarily while we make further decisions.
I am wanting to get in touch with a local rep to have a varomoa demo.

Welcome - sure I wouldn't miss the red dust. We used to go to the Mallee every Xmas for hols and when you have a stinking hot day and the wind is blowing dust from the north ...... Yes, understand.
Sure you'll have fun here.

Hi KLC and welcome! My sister lived up north for many years and always complained about that red dust...

A belated welcome KLC. I live quite near where you're staying at the moment.
We're off fishing for the time be and leaving kids home to pay the bills and mind the house.
We occasionally have get togethers, so hopefully you will be able to join us at the next one. I think I read somewhere that MJ was thinking about one in mid June.

Hi KLC, welcome. I used to live in Tom Price and have to admit I miss the countryside up there. Was quite a bit prettier than Kal. Have fun using your TMX and look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi there, I have just joined forum and have read that you are currently in Leeming. I live in Leeming too, so any get togethers would be great.

Hi KLC79 and welcome from yet another Perthie. We have get togethers often (just search Perth get together
) there are a couple of us on here that are consultants so shouldn't be too hard. (just a little tip though, hold off on your varoma demo for a couple of weeks - there are changes in the wind
)

Thanks for the warm welcome and the heads up on waiting for my varoma demo, sounds intriguing.
I am looking forward to joining some classes and learning more at get-togethers, let me know if there is anything on soon. I see Urban Providers in Leederville has one coming up. Anyone going?
I have had a few messages from Leeming girls, its a small world isn't it! Perhaps a cuppa one day?
