Welcome Chelsey! Ooh, how exciting for you! First recipes? Well, risotto is my favourite - I make the Every Day Cooking Mushroom Risotto all the time. Then, perhaps Sticky Toffee Pudding. I haven't converted the measurements to weight, but it's still an easy one and very impressive!

Have fun! ;D
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

i always reckon the vege stock concentrate from the Everyday Cookbook is a good starting point. it is easy, and a good foundation ingredient in lots of recipes. you will need a nice big jar to put it in.

Hi & welcome to the forum Chelsey, the kids will love the custards, rice puddings and sorbets.  Soups are quick and easy and all in one meals like stews etc are great too.  Check out the forum, you will soon see which are the favourites.

lWelcome Chelsey,  you sure have hit the ground running.  There are so many good things to make.  Make sure you put 4 teaspoons of dried yeast into he HotX Buns  if you are using the EDC book recipe.

Hi Chelsey,
I tried the Butter Chicken recipe from the EDC and it is delicious.  Make sure you have nan bread to serve with it cause you won't wnat to waste any sauce.
