My family adore this dessert. For the past few years we have eaten this for dessert on Christmas Day.I like vanilla ice cream with it but DH dollops a huge blob of Cornish Clotted Cream on the top LOL
I doubled the recipe today and popped the twelve aluminum dishes into the freezer. :D

I was only thinking of this recipe the other day Denise, everyone should have these in their freezers if they often have unexpected visitors and they are perfect for Christmas festivities.

Just a quick question about these Souffle. Has anyone made them with gluten free flour? I want to make these for Christmas day but need them gluten free. Thanks

Sorry I have no idea Boo.

Well I made 2 batches of this recipe for Christmas Eve dinner. One batch wheat free. (I used white wings gluten free flour) and the other batch dairy free (I used Nuttlex and Lindt 85% chocolate which has no dairy). SENSATIONAL DESSERT!
Thank you for the recipe Farfallina.

I think I will follow CC suggestion and have these ready made in the freezer! I can make them to suit all dietary needs.

Thank you for sharing your modifications to the recipe Bootobethin..
I haven't tried it with gluten-free flour. I am happy to hear everything turned out satisfactory.
I believe there may be some gluten-sensitive or celiac friends who can benefit from your experience.  ;)

I was a copy cat and made these yesterday for guests. They were amazed at how I managed to get the liquid inside the cake!!!  I didn't tell them!  Thanks farfallina.  I served them with cream.

Never give away trade secrets cookie but perhaps they asked for the recipe so will find out for themselves.
