Glad you've been enjoying all the recipes Reb.  Would love to see some reviews, especially of the cookbook recipes.  It really helps to know what everyone is enjoying.

Homemade rolls are great for kids lunches aren't they - my toddlers love the scrolls as they're so easy for little hands to manage.

Welcome reb! Sometimes, steamed meat can look unappetising. A good sauce usually counters that issue.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Welcome reb. Was it the flavour or the look of the steamed meatball that  you didn't like? I didn't think my family would like the steamed meat but as MJ says - the sauce covered that up & I really don't think they noticed. I like the moistness of meat cooked in the Varoma but agree it can look unappetising without a good sauce. Try another meat dish cooked in the varoma before discarding the idea of using it for meat.
