« on: June 11, 2010, 11:58:39 am »

This is a recipe from 'Le Merende Della Mamma' Book.
It has a very light and delicate taste. We loved it
I hope you like too!  ;)

Cioco-Ric:

Number of People: 6

Ingredients:

Ricotta dessert
4 gelatin leaves
120g sugar
450g ricotta
150g milk
Juice of ½ orange

Chocolate sauce:
75g bitter chocolate
50g whole milk
10g butter or margarine
3g vanillin sugar

Preparation:

    * Soak gelatin leaves into water
    * Prepare chocolate sauce: Put all sauce ingredients and cook for 5 minutes at 50ºC on Speed 4 and set aside
    * Place sugar in the washed and dried TM bowl. 20 seconds / Speed 10
    * Add ricotta, milk and 4 tbsp of chocolate sauce. Blend for 40 seconds on Speed 4
    * Squeeze out the water off the gelatin leaves and put them in a small pan. Add orange juice and melt them at low heat on stove
    * Start TM on Speed 4 and pour down gelatin-orange juice through the hole of TM lid. Continue to mix for 40 seconds
    * Wet 6 small bowl/tins with water. (I used aluminum foil ones) Put ricotta desert into tins. Let it cool down at the fridge for 3 hours at least
    * Turn the tins upside down onto serving plate. Dress with chocolate sauce

yum farfallina. I'm thinking I might add a splash of Contreau in that chocolate sauce. Maybe I should be attending  Alcoholics & Thermoholics Anonymous  :-\ :-\

Contreau? Not a bad idea at all!   ;)

Well, in Italian EDC there is a panna cotta recipe. They use cognac (optional)

Well.... As long as you add contreau to your chocolate and not chocolate your contreau, you can still be saved!!  ;D

Good work.  I think that anything with orange and chocolate generally tastes good.  They look good for serving to guests & make ahead of time too.  :-* :-* :-*
