Hi we're new here
« on: June 19, 2010, 05:15:44 am »
I'm Lauren and my husband is Shannon, he's already a member here but never posts so I've joined myself up.

We got our TM last year thanks to K Rudd lol and love it.  We were in WA at the time but now we're in Wagga, next year we'll be somewhere else.

I usually use the TM for porridge and boiling eggs lol though I'm trying to expand my repatoirre by checking out the recipes on here.  I'm making Brigadeirios right now, always good to start with dessert!  DH uses TM for everything.

I'm also looking for a rep in Wagga so that we can have a Varoma demo, we ran out of time at our last posting, sorry Kathryn/faffa 70 (Hi Kathryn, it's Lauren from Bullsbrook!)

Anywho good to be here
Lauren

Hi Lauren, welcome to the forum.  Shannon is obviously too busy working and cooking to spend time on the forum so it is nice that you could join us instead.  You certainly get around, hope you find a consultant as nice as the last one you had  ;) ;)

Hi Lauren and welcome.  Now was it from your place that Kathryn didn't get home until the early hours of the morning? I guess you are air force or something similar? How do your children cope with the moves?

Thanks Judy, lol yeah Shan does the working and cooking and I look after 5 boys aged 5 and under! Pretty even split I reckon lol

Hi cookie1, yep that was my place lol glad I'm already known rofl.  Yep Shan is in the Airforce.
The boys aren't too bad with the moves, they're only young though the eldest (5yo) didn't want to leave WA cause he didn't want to leave his girlfriend behind lol Other than that well, until they start earning the big biccies they really have no choice but to get used to the moves, they're pretty confident kids though and have no problems making friends so that makes it easier.

Hi emma, I've tried replying to your PM but I'm not sure if it went through or not, please let me know if it didn't.
It would be great if you could come up here.  I've printed out the flyer for the cooking class, I've got a friend in Wodonga that I'd love to visit so I may shout Shan to the cooking class then pop off to my friends place lol

Hi Lauren and welcome to the forum! ;D
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
