Souffle Orange Tapioca Cream
« on: June 27, 2010, 05:21:55 am »
I made this last night. The recipe is from the British Larder site.
http://www.britishlarder.co.uk/souffle-orange-tapioca-cream/

We really enjoyed it. It did deflate within seconds of coming out of the oven. I had DH ready with the camera but they had still deflated a bit by the time her took the photo.
I made 1/3 of the recipe as I certainly didn't want 12. I found that this quantity made 3 quite large ones as you can see in the photo. Next time I make them I don't think I'll use the jam either unless it's for guests.
It was a lovely way to have tapioca and the orange zest really lifted an ordinary pudding.
