Hello
« on: July 03, 2010, 12:08:47 pm »
I have had a TMX for 3 months now - it feels like years and I have no idea how I managed without one! It has opened up a whole new world of cooking for me. I have two littlies and are a wheat free, no additives, no preservatives cook and I tend to make everything from scratch now. Having the TMX makes it all so easy. I now LOVE being 'stuck in the kitchen'.

Hi Zebraa
So good to hear of your enjoyment of TMX - it's a great investment for a young family.  I don't know what I did before it.  Just love trolling the internet, looking for recipes to convert.

Looking forward to your contributions.

Welcome zebraa. I'm glad the Thermomix has helped you with your cooking. It certainly makes things much easier to do.

Welcome zebraa!

Cathy, I hope you're trawling the internet, not trolling. A 'troll' on a forum is a heckler, those nuisancy people who stir up trouble by making inflammatory comments.  :o
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Hi Zebraa,

welcome. I was just saying to my DH the other night that my TMX has certainly paid for itself. I just love using it and it has saved us bundles of money. We have never been a family that eats out much but since Ted arrived, we have only had take outs once other than buying food when traveling to and from Perth or while away from home. It is great for knowing what is going into your family's mouths. Hope you continue to enjoy your adventures with your TMX.

Hi zebraa.

Welcome.  A TM certainly helps with all aspects of family meal creation, especially if you want to remove additives and preservatives.  It took me 6 mths to take the plunge (silly me  ;D ;D)and I've had mine for nearly 2 years.  We are going on a holiday soon and will be without my Thermy for 8 days.    :'( :'( Every time I thnik of it I have heart palpitations and get a bit sweaty.   ;)
