Hi from Lien

Hi all,
My name is Lien and i hail from Sydney, a miserable cold one at that today.
After a wonderful friend of mine (Alina) told me about Thermomix, curiosity got the better of me and I organised for a demo at my house last night. DH was home and was quite impressed (and he is not easily impressed by the many varied gadget and appliance purchases I have had over the years).
So after a long chat to Alina and some prompt feedback from Brazen/Karen (thanks for the emails), I bit the bullet and today I put in an order for a TMX. I am hoping it arrives before xmas so I can have fun with it over the holidays.
I have a new bubba and a 3 y.o DS so hoping to whip up heaps of healthy meals for both the kiddies and my wonderful hubby!!
Hope to get to know everyone here a bit better and share the recipes & tips!
Cheers
Lien

Hi Lien
There seems to be something about the Thermomix that husbands like. It was my DH that said 'we should get one of those'.
I didn't complain at all.
Welcome and I hope you receive your Thermomix before Christmas.

Good luck - remember that we all had mistakes when we started, and still do. So don't lose heart if things don't work out.
We're here to help.

I'm sure it is a boy thing.
A friend of mine got one a couple of weeks ago and her husband has placed himself in charge of it!!
Suits her to have someone else cook.

My husband cooks with it too. He's largely taken over breakfasts and bread - which is great. Prior to that he was a largely unknown stranger in the kitchen, except for occasional forays.
