was thinking about how much I enjoy smooth hot vanilla custard on these cold wintery nights and wondered what everyone else’s favourite is??? :D

My favourite at the moment would have to be any soup. I'm rather partial to chocolate custard too.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I don't know where to start.   I have collected so many really nice recipes from this Forum that I have 6 fat folders with them in.   More than 1/2 have been tested.   My poor family and friends ;D ;D ;D.  I thought Russell was putting together a book on favorites?

Yes, where is Russell?  Favourites are hard for me because I rarely do anything very frequently,  I do Chookie's Chow Mein every few months or so and different soups all the time so they would have to be amongst my many favourites.

Favourites... hmmm

I guess it's my sourdough bread at the moment... I do a batch every second day at least... or the sourdough waffles have been popular.. 8)

Oh.. I know... Thermomixer's crumpets...  I get cravings for them..  :-\

Bread first, then Risotto, then Soup.

I just posted about Russell as I was thinking he's been MIA for a while!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
