I made these on Saturday afternoon. They were very nice Judy, even more so becuase they have the tick.
Unfortunately my raspberries all sank to the bottom. It's like a layer of them on the bottom. This hasn't affected the taste though.

That's strange Cookie, did you pop them in frozen or thaw them out first?  I put mine in frozen.  As you can see by my photo, mine are scattered throughout the brownie.

I have always had problems when adding fresh berries to a cake, I will now try with frozen berries. :)

I used frozen ones Judy and put them in frozen. It really doesn't concern me as it still tastes delicious.

Thanks for the lovely comments, she is a character!
The brownies were divine.  Send the rest to work with DH this morning so us girls at home don't eat them all!

Made this morning, didn't read properly and used natural yogurt.  But happy with the result, not too sweet.  All gone in quickly at church lunch.  Thanks, JD.

It shouldn't have made much difference Denzelmum, just would have cut the sweetness a bit.  They were all eaten so they must have been good  ;D

just found this recipe, its really late but i just had to cook it right now! (was supposed to be searching for a recipe for a red cake, maybe the velvet cupcake type of thing for the interesting cake idea post)
anyway, its just come out of the oven, i hope it is ok, because i fear my quantities maybe a bit out!
i put in 3 eggs as they were very small, too much apple puree (total accident) and only had 40gr cocoa instead of 65 as that was all i had! so, cant wait for them too cool so i can taste, oh also i had mundella honey yoghurt so used that, think it should make for a nice flavour.
will report back shortly when i have had a cup of tea and hopefully yummy brownie (they smell good!)
the answer is chocolate, who cares what the question is!
