Hello....
« on: August 14, 2010, 07:54:10 am »
I am a new Thermomixer from Hobart - have had my thermy nearly 2 weeks and am really enjoying it.  Currently hungry for new recipes as I only have the EDC and they aren't too great for me.  There are lots of great recipes here and I've especially been having fun with the bread and biscuits.  Hubby thinks the thermomix is worth it just for the anzac cookies although the lasagne I did the other night did seal the deal....

Welcome janeeknits. I'm glad you are trying some of the recipes on the forum, some of them are indeed lovely, and the reviews are especially helpful.

Hi and welcome to the forum janeeknits.  Our forum is like one big recipe book - you couldn't ask for more variety and ideas so hope you enjoy yourself here.  Sounds like your DH is easily pleased - lucky you.

Actually he cooks better than I do but loves really good tasty food and things like anzacs and lasagne aren't normally things i bother with because there is too much work involved.  The lasagne was great and there was enough to freeze for a second meal although for the sake of the waistline I will be a bit careful with how often we have it.

Tonight we're having a roast cooked by hubby but am hoping to make banana tofu icecream for dessert if the bananas freeze in time.

Hi and welcome Janeeknits - this forum is amazing in every aspect - recipes, support and always someone who will 'listen'.  I too am relatively new to the thermie world, being an owner for a mere 7 weeks.  I hope that you too enjoy all there is to offer.

Cheers
