My baby is fussy when teething but she'll always eat custard. Adding lavendar helps to relax her from sore little gums.

Name of Recipe: Lavendar custard
Number of People: 2-4
Ingredients:
3 lavendar flowers
40g rapadura or raw sugar
1 egg
20g cornflour

Preparation:
put lavendar flowers and sugar in TM bowl and grind 20 seconds on speed 9.
Add remaining ingredients cook for 6 mins 90 degrees speed 4.

Evienme,  that was quick.  Any milk or cream?  I also believe that not all Lavender is suitable to ingest.  I grow a special bush for using with food.

The question of which type of lavender to use is something I also need to ask as I printed out a recipe the other day for lavender biscuits which used 1 tsp chopped lavender leaves and wondered if what I had in the garden was the right type. As mine came up on their own I don't even know what type they are - can anyone help me out here. Chookie, remember the photo I published of our new car alongside the lavender bush - does that look suitable?  It has me intrigued, using lavender in recipes.

Oops, I forgot to add the most important ingredient - 250g milk :) and I use French (or fringed) lavender. Do a google image search to
compare what you have.

How are we finding it? Reduce the amount of flowers to suit your palate.

Gave my first basic demo last night. Had so much fun, and it went really well. Made kiwifruit sorbet which was a hit. 
