Good way to use up all your different flours DJ, pity the do was cancelled but at least they will keep.

How did your dough go overnight Jamberie?

I love this recipe. It is so easy to make changes to. It is a lovely texture to make into rolls and different shapes too. I plan to do the woven loaf again with this on Tuesday using some rye and wholemeal flour, probably about 50g of each.

cookie,  love the way you do that woven loaf.
I have a special Xmas function next Sat. And am going to make bread sticks with Nori rolled in.  Doesn't add much to the taste but looks spectacular with a black swirl when sliced.

I love this forum! Thank you Chookie for sharing the original recipe and thank you Uni for sharing you tweaks! I love the ability to make my own bread dough so quickly and easily with the TMX but sometimes the rising time is just too long...so last night at about 10pm after reading about Uni's experiments with yeast I used 1/4 tsp of yeast and started two batches of dough. I checked on them at 9am and this is what I found....a small crust had started to form where the dough was exposed to air, but it wasn't a problem once I did a second mini-hand-knead.

1 teaspoon of sugar and 1/8 teaspoon of yeast for this loaf chickie and only one rise

This what I've been wondering about for a while but haven't had the time to do it.  Making some tonight = thanks Uni . . . this is great! :-*

Jamberie = those look positively awesome!!! :D

Jamberie,  what fun you are having.  Don't you just love the way Uni takes a basic recipe and runs with it.
