Just starting
« on: September 13, 2010, 01:52:26 am »
Hi,
My husband and I have just puchased our miricle machine.  The fabulous TM31.  I have been using it for about 4 weeks now and loving it.  Looking forward to using some of those great recipes that are being posted and sharing some recipes of my own.
I have even started growing my own herbs.  (not a gardener my any means) but I am so excited about getting back to the basic ingrediants that our grandparents used. Opening a can or jar is not quite the same now as it was before the FabTM.

Hi Ches, welcome to the forum. Your herb garden will prove to be very useful and cost effective - it's a lovely feeling to just walk outside and come back with a bunch of herbs from your garden.  Our shopping lists are certainly different from what they were pre-TMX days although even then I had noticed my trolley looked a lot healthier than most I saw lined up at the check-out.

Welcome Ches. Like you I didn't have much of a herb garden before but now I have more.
What sort of things do you like making?

Thanks all for the warm welcome's.  Cookie1 - I think the most favourite dishes I like making are seafood with steamed vegies.  The milk shakes are a hit with my hubby and the dips are a big hit with our visitors.

Welcome and glad you are enjoying your TMX.
Dips are such a hit aren't they and so easy to make.
