Thermomix Envy

Hi Everyone,
This is all very new to me. I had my first Thermomix experience last weekend at my sister in laws. It was love at first sight.
Ever since, I've been conjuring up ways of coming up with the money to buy my own. I don't like the idea of the long term payment plans as you end up paying so much more for it. I wont be beaten though. I'm speaking to a lady tomorrow about being a demonstrator!
Are there any demonstrators on the forum that can share any advice or tips? I'm petrified at the thought of selling them even though they sell themselves.
A whole new world has opened up this week. My husband and children even love the TM. No convincing to be done there!
Any advice is most welcome.
Thanks a million!

Hi Welcome,
Be sure to drop into the introduce yourself section for a proper welcome.
Depending where you live it can be hard to nail people down to demonstrations, but if you have time on your hands go for it- it is worth it. We sold 4 in our 60 days which is about average - but after I had mine at home I did not care how many I sold.
If you are the type of person that can come up with $1500 for your fridge or hot water system if it breaks down then go for it and whatever you do you will do. If you would have to shower with cold water until you saved for a HWS, then save your pennies then buy it and then become a consultant and start earning commissions straight away..
my 2 cents
but each person to their own.

Welcome jodi72. I can't help you with the consultant advice but I'm sure you'll work things out. A tax refund maybe?

Welcome to the forum Jodi and I wish you luck getting the money together to get yourself one of these machines. You will never regret it and the money you will save on your housekeeping in the long run is only one of the benefits. We have had people on here pretty well in the same position as you and they get there in the end so don't ever give up hope of owning one yourself.

Hi again everyone,
I just thought I'd update you all..... I got my Thermomix!!!!
I signed up as a demonstrator on Sunday and after discussions with my hubby we decided to pay it off on a payment plan that we can manage and as I make commission, that will come off the balance. Should have it paid off in no time hopefully.
I'm no longer in envy of everyone!!
Yippee! So excited.

Welcome Jodi! I've been a consultant for nearly 18 mths now, and am still loving it - it's so much fun to blow people's minds with this machine!!!
As long as you are enjoying yourself, they will too, and before you know it you'll be getting calls from people asking
you
for demos, instead of the other way around! Have fun, Jo

So far we've mastered lots of sweet treats! (All the important stuff)
The first night I made Popcorn Brunch Bars - a massive hit with the kids. Last night we made chocolate custard and today my 9 year old son made $4 chocolate mud cake! Gee looking back, we look like big chocoholics don't we? he he
My next test is to make dinner tonight. My only problem is, I can't decide what to make.
Positively spoilt for choice.
Lots of my friends have thermomix envy now!
Thanks for all your encouragement ladies. I love this forum! A new world of friends.
