I'm trying a recipe of Julie Goodwin's for the thermomix. It was in the weekend papers.

Dani Valent's beef stir fry, except I chickened out and cooked it in the wok. It's delicious and full of flavour. Gobbled up by all

Kitchen closed today. Rocked up to Nando's for dinner and discovered I had 510 points on my loyalty card. Used up the points for a completely free meal. Happy! 😃😄

That meal looks delicious BZB - all the better that it was free too and you managed a night off from cooking.

Chinese braised beef cheeks from the Womens Weekly slow cooker 3 cook book and banoffee pie. i used chuck instead of the beef cheeks and reduced the sauce down a lot once cooked and served with brocoli, cabbage and bok choy steamed in the varoma while the rice cooked. the vegetables were overdone but otherwise a lovely meal that was enjoyed by all. next time i will cook it in the pressure cooker but working from home today i was able to do it in the slow cooker as per the recipe.
much to my surprise everyone also loved the banoffee pie and i was only allowed to give about 1/3 away.
