Chookie's easy quiche for dinner tonight. Love quiche with a salad when it is hot, even though I had to crank the oven to 200!!!

Its been so still all night, and now as I write this the leaves are rustling. We had the KIS Lemon Chicken tonight cooked outside in the BBQ (with hood). Couldn't bear to turn the oven on inside. I feel like a snowflake in this heat.

I know cp, 39 yesterday, 38 today. It was too hot to have dinner outside last night. Finally a litttle cooler around 8 when we all jumped in the pool.
Dinner tonight, no idea depends on heat.
What is everyone having for dinner on these hot days

We're having ham steaks Hally. With veggies and maybe salad. Depends what I do. I try to ignore the heat when I am inside, it can be hard.
I just went down to the Spud Shed, gosh it was hot in the car park.

A snowflake in this heat - what a great line, CP
Been trying to get back into the groove after having mum here for a month. I stay out of the kitchen when she's visiting. Or I'd go crazy with how she does her prepping.
This heat is not helping. My desire to cook is still low. Sigh.
Anyway, I made Char Koay Teow for tonight's dinner.

Looks great BZB, one of my favourite dishes just without the prawns.
We had leftovers last night and DD is supposed to be making dinner tonight so I'm sure it will be OK but just very late.
