DH has a summer cold and has been out of sorts for a few days now. As it is overcast, cooler and a bit drizzly today I made roasted tomato soup and we had it with toast. DH enjoyed it as he said he would pay money for it.  :D

We had a few lots of visitors today so dinner was a rush. It ended up being burgers with Uni's one hour rolls from the freezer.

I cooked Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef.I thought it was okay but DH and DS loved it. The flavours might develop in the leftovers in the fridge overnight.

I agree Katj. DH offered to cook a roast chicken. I was surprised until he said he would go and buy it while I did roast vegies in the AF. Sounds a good idea to me.

Tonight we had Skinnymixers Nyonya chicken curry.  I added some zucchini and a can of chickpeas along with the chicken.
It was really tasty and we both enjoyed it.
